Professor Armitage and his assistant, Algernon, track down the elusive Doctor Chronos, a time-manipulating madman. In a grimy alley, they confront Chronos, but Algernon's unexpected bravery disrupts his plans, securing a crucial piece of the Chronometer and setting the stage for future encounters.
